Semaglutide
also known as Ozempic or Wegovy, is a medicine that can help with weight loss by mimicking a hormone that makes you feel full and slowing down digestion. Some people may notice changes in their appetite and weight within the first week of treatment, but most weight loss occurs within the first 4 to 5 months. In one study, adults lost about 35 lbs (15.9 kg) after 68 weeks of treatment.
Results will vary depending on patient’s diet and exercise routine.
